I have been receiving Reiki for a few months, and at one of the sessions I asked my Reiki Master if we could focus on identifying my Animal Spirit Guides. I understand that we all have them and I wanted to meet mine.
An animal showed up--a mammal, furry, sort of cream colored--but he was partially hidden behind a rock, and although I tried and tried to see it in its entirety, I wasn't able to. I told my Reiki Master and she said one possibility is that I may not yet be ready to meet this Animal Guide. Since that session, I haven't pursued looking for my Animal Guides. This is partly because of events in my personal life that took my focus away from this. I will, however, seek them once again at my next Reiki session.
